FACULTY OF MANAGEMENT
UNDERGRADUATE TEACHING ASSISTANTS
The Faculty of Management is seeking to hire students (Undergraduate Teaching Assistants) to assist with MGMT 100, MGMT 200 and 300 level MGMT courses (September & January terms) for Winter Session 2012/2013. TA’s must be available to start work on campus one week prior to the start of term and through the final exam period after the end of term.
To apply, students must be enrolled full-time in the Bachelor of Management degree program at UBC’s Okanagan campus (note: a full-time student is defined as minimum of 24 credits (2 terms) for the Winter Session). Priority will be given to fourth year students; third year students may be considered for a MGMT 100 or 200 waiting list.
The successful Undergraduate Teaching Assistants may be involved in the following:
- marking assignments and exams
- discussion periods
- tutorials and lectures
- invigilation duties
- academic assistance to students during office hours
Time commitment: may vary from week to week with a maximum of 12 hours per week.
Wage for this position: $14.65/hour.
